Everyday more people are getting their news from sites on the Internet. Struggling to maintain a viable product in the changing market, newspapers are transitioning to multimedia. This is a short piece I produced about a newspaper in Santa Rosa, The Press Democrat. The Modesto Bee,where I work, is going through the very same changes.

Photo Show @ Harvest Moon on May 1st

There will be a photography show at Harvest Moon on May 1. All
photographs were taken by Alison Yin. The photos will stay up for the
month of May, and there will be a special after-hours reception
Tuesday, May 1, from 9-11pm where we'll be raffling off a print,
"Graffiti Trains." You will receive a free ticket to enter the raffle
with each drink purchase.

Every Monday, along 7th street in Modesto, Calif., there is a livestock auction and flea market that has been around for over 100 years. At the auction, you can buy a baby goat for as little as $2.50! (Adm won't let me get one... :( yet). Photos by Alison Yin
