More Pink Salmon Fishing

Early Wednesday, August 15, 2007, fishermen crowded at Browns Point Lighthouse Park along the Sound to fish off-shore for pink salmon, which only come every other year. The fishermen participate in "jig" fishing whereby they use lead-weighted lures called "buzz bombs" for bait, and are constantly casting and reeling in line. The lures flutter through the water and then settle before being reeled in; this makes them appear as bait. Photos by Alison Yin

I really love your style when you step back. I've seen you post a lot of frames where you're shooting from a lot farther back than I'd be, and it really works for you. Third frame in...the four guys on the water. Coolsville.
