I started looking for interesting reflections after I saw Matt Mallams speak here in the Bay. Also, I have wanted to work on my layering to create more visual impact. I hope that this image fits the bill.

Bart Project

The most amazing feeling comes over me when I feel that I have had to stretch myself to make a new photo for this project. Seriously, I get all giddy. Now, I know that I am not the next Eugene Smith or anything like that, but I love knowing that I have gone beyond myself to make something just a little better than what I have shot before. I hope that you enjoy these new images.

Latest BART photo

This is the latest photo from my BART series. I have finally started to develop the style for the photo essay. I have to thank Ken Kobre for helping me focus the story. I love watching how people meet each other or ignore each other on the train. I am trying to bring some of the isolation out, but it isn't easy.
