Latest BART photo

This is the latest photo from my BART series. I have finally started to develop the style for the photo essay. I have to thank Ken Kobre for helping me focus the story. I love watching how people meet each other or ignore each other on the train. I am trying to bring some of the isolation out, but it isn't easy.

Bears eat the Gophers

The Cal Bears killed the Minnesota Gophers last weekend on their way to the National Semi Finals on May 1. I would never play rugby, but man is it fun to watch and shoot. I plan on following them in the finals.

Easter "Sonrise"

On Easter, I covered an Easter "Sonrise" service at the Turlock Biblical Gardens. The light was beautiful!

Oakdale Rodeo

Last weekend I photographed the Oakdale Rodeo in the "cowboy capital of the world." It was a beautiful day, and I was lucky that it was my only assignment so I was able to roam freely.

Prom out-takes

These are some shots that I liked from a prom I recently photographed in Berkeley. Proms are always a lot of work, and this one was no different. I thought that others might like to take a look at these kids gettin' down low.

La Grange Rodeo

I had fun shooting the La Grange Rodeo, but I only wish that I had had more time to shoot it. This is the first time that I shot a rodeo before, and it is almost impossible to shoot it in the hour and a half that I had there. Maybe next year...

Oakland Police Vigil Part II
