The Howl
The Howl from Adm Golub on Vimeo.
Tucked into the foothills of the Sierra National Forest lies Coulterville, a small gold rush town. The town is along the original stage coach route to Yosemite National Park, and it has retained much of its character and culture of the mid 1800s. Each May, Coulterville hosts a coyote howling contest that draws tourists and locals alike and includes lots of music, frivolity, and howling galore.
